High-ranking political visit to Uetersen

Shortly before the turn of the year, Claus Ruhe Madsen, Schleswig-Holstein's Minister of Economic Affairs, visited Feldmuehle GmbH with a CDU team of state and local politicians!

Our management has discussed the difficulties and problems caused by the federal government's back and forth with the minister and his companions.

A very topical issue was the short-term change in the federal budget situation and the effects on a production company using the example of Feldmuehle GmbH.

The topic of high energy costs and the associated disadvantage compared to European competition was also discussed. They also discussed the clear north-south divide in terms of the grid fees applicable in Germany and the resulting distortion of competition within Germany. Other key topics included excessive bureaucracy, logistics and training and recruiting new employees.

During a subsequent tour, the Minister was able to gain a good impression of the efforts and investments that have been initiated and realised by Feldmuehle, particularly in the last two years.

Despite all the current difficulties in Germany, the Minister found it very positive that the Feldmuehle team is working intensively on the problems and developing solutions.
